“she lives in fairytale.”

click picture for lookbook.nu: she lives in fairytale

Her outfit is cute, but it would look a little better if she loosely tucked in her shirt. That way she would look chic and effortlessly cool.
If you like what you see, click on the photo and it’ll direct you to her lookbook.

working nonstop // ugly clothes

I’ve been working more than 4 shifts per week since the semester ended back in December and my goodness, I am TIRED. I worked two shifts today too. One at 11AM (-3:30PM) and another at 6:00PM (-10:30PM).

Folding clothes and greeting “guests” got really repetitive today. Especially RE-folding several piles of discounted shirts and jeans after a crowd of locusts (a name I call asian shoppers) came by. Cleaning after them is never fun.

Anyway, we got new items in the store today. I work at an outlet Hollister store so, technically, our new stuffs aren’t new but rejected merchandise that the full-price HCO retailers didn’t like or couldn’t sell. Two of the infamous items I saw were these floral printed leggings.

floral style numero dos.

floral style numero uno.

HAHA

These aren’t that bad… But who would wear this? Nobody, unless you’re a pregger or a 12 year-old kid. This shit is nasty.

Then, there are these:

skinny jeans / destroyed and wiped out (literally) with metal studs.

The perks of driving an old car.

I was driving my car to work today and noticed this realllllyyy acidic burnt smell. I look around to see if I drove by any BBQs and saw none. Then I looked at my dash and saw this:

Yellow square for "Maintenance Required."

I sent a message with the pic to my sister and she says to get my car checked out tomorrow. So! I will be without a car tomorrow.

Oh the perks of driving an old car… You never know when your life will be hanging by a thread.

Kidding. But seeing that yellow square didn’t make me feel any better. I’ve already been on edge about the car ever since I started driving it Earlier in the fall.

I need to save up for a new car asap.

Oh I almost forgot…

Another one of my New Year’s Resolution this year was to make friends (or reconnect with old ones) and keep in touch. Way too many broken bridges in my phonebook… This has got to change this year :)

#BarnesandNoble raid, sort of.

It's Sunday and Metro Pointe is crowded as usual; View from 2nd story B&N.

Went to Barnes and Noble to buy myself a new leather bound journal. I ended up leaving the place with the journal and two books, spending a total hour and a half shopping around.

I was about to buy Warren Buffet’s Management Secrets book along with others too. Instead, I bought Fred White’s The Daily Reader: 366 selections of great prose and poetry to inspire a productive and meaningful writing life, Jeannette Wells The Glass Castle (which I am going to return because I won’t have time to read it yet), and my leather-bound journal.

I’ve been meaning to look for good books to read since last reading The Kite Runner. I love heartfelt books like that. It just makes me feel so sad and good at the same time. Odd combination to feel but it’s just so awesome of a feeling it’s hard to explain it.

Well I gotta get ready for shaolin practice tonight. It’s the first practice since two weeks ago (holiday hiatus). I sort of don’t want to go anymore but I’m forcing myself. I need to stop quitting things and stick to them. This is a new year! I GOTZ TO DO BETTERRRRRZ.

LOL bye.
